Merlie McIntosh Jones, age 76, of Elberton, Georgia entered her eternal rest on Aug. 17, 2019.

Funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, Aug. 24, 2019 at Mack’s Funeral Home & Cremation Service- Elberton chapel.

Interment will be in the Maple Spring Baptist Cemetery, Elberton, Georgia.

Survivors include her children, Marcia McCord, Lisa Buggs, Stephanie McCord Hollis, Mark Jones; sisters, Mary Ann Miller, Carie Hood, Marie Worthy, Dorothy Sims, Jennifer Wimbley, Donna Sherman; former husband, Eugene McCord; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
