Mother Mildred (Allen) Dupree age 85 of Decatur, Georgia made her final transition on Sunday, May 5, 2024 to her eternal home.

Mother Mildred was born on March 8, 1939 in Elberton, Georgia to the union of the late Harrison Allen and Lula (Cleveland) Allen. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Bessie Mae Davis, Bertha Mae Harper, Corrine Allen, Willie Allen, Roosevelt Allen, Albert Allen and Margie Ree Morrison.

She leaves to carry her legacy her children Carolyn Clemons (Covington, GA) Zachary (Zaidy) Dupree, Nashville, TN.; grandkids Tawanna Everhart, Lashandra Thomas, Quinton Jamal Dupree, Tiffany Lynch, Jamari Jihad (Tatyana) Dupree, Laura Acosta, Jeremiah Clemons, Tonya Jordan (Willie) Edwards, Vincent(Brandi) Jordan; sixteen grandkids America Thomas, Eliyah Thomas, Quinterius Lynch, Miyanni Lynch, Myleah Lynch, Zora Dupree, Sunflower Devine , Chloe Reid, Leon Edwards, Josh Edwards, Deon Edwards, Aries Jordan, Phoenix Jordan, Aspen Jordan, Olivia Clemons, two great grandkids; her brother and last surviving sibling, Elder James (Lorraine) Allen of Knoxville, TN; two sister-in-law Everlena Allen Knoxville, TN, Frances Allen, Elberton, GA.

Public Viewing will be held at the mortuary Friday, May 10, 2024, 12:00 NOON until 8:00 P.M.

Family and friends are asked to assemble at the residence Saturday, at 12:00 NOON.

Homegoing Services for Mother Mildred Dupree will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, 1:00 P.M. at Eastlake United Methodist Church, with her remains placed in repose at 12:30 P.M. Reverend Jesse L. Gordon, Pastor, Pastor Dr. Roosevelt Allen, Eulogist, Pastor Mary Huggins, Officiating.

Interment will be at the Kennedy Memorial Gardens, Ellenwood, GA.
