Death is a gain when it means the end of one's sorrow. We live in a world of beauty, but there is also sadness, on Friday, January 17, 2025, Mr. Naim Lateef Benard answered the call. We have blessed assurance that life does not end with death; it gives the soul an eternal resting place.
Naim Lateef Benard was born on November 5, 1977, to the late Percy Benard, Jr. and Thelma Elaine (Allen) Benard. Naim departed this life peacefully on January 17, 2025.
Naim attended Elbert County Comprehensive High School and graduated with the Class of 1996. He was very talented and everything he touched blossomed. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends; and doing what he loved his passion was a car audio technician, many friendships were built. This is how he met his princess, his soulmate, his Bae.
Naim was united in holy matrimony on May 30, 2019, to Mrs. Iesshea K. Benard, and together their union became “The Benard family of five”. He was very big on family, and he loved his entire family.
Naim was preceded in death by his father Percy Benard, Jr.; grandmother Thelma Allen, Darnell Love; Grandfather Percy Benard, Sr.; father-in-law Robert Lee; special friends Kinte’ Odister and Timothy Thornton.
Naim leaves his many wonderful memories to be shared by his wife Iesshea K. Benard; his mother Thelma E. Benard; bonus daughter Tianna Seals; bonus son Derrick Seals; his precious niece Antearia Gary (in his words his “Poopy and Munchkin”) and then came along Asher Osiah and A’layah Jaziriah his bonus children; three brothers Teir Gary, Anthony Gary, Deven Benard; two sisters Shapour Benard, Kristian Benard; two aunts Zelda Benard, Maria Teasley; seven uncles Michael Allen, Donald Allen, James (Pam) Allen, David Allen, Frederick (Louise) Walton, Whalen Adams, Steve Adams; sisters-in-law Shiller Hopkins, Renee Edwards; nieces Kimora Gary, Chole Gary; nephew Carter Gary; a host of other loving relatives.
Public Viewing will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 1:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
Interment will follow the funeral service located at Lincoln Heights Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
