Pastor John Wayne Strong

Rev. John Wayne Strong, age 63, of Elberton, Georgia entered his eternal rest on Sunday, April 25, 2021.

Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, May 1, 2021 at New Beginnings Methodist Church located at 1733 Tobe Wells Road, Elberton, Georgia.

Rev. Strong will be placed in the church at 1:00 pm Saturday until the hour of service.

Interment will be in the Lincoln Heights Cemetery, Elberton, Georgia.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 29 and Friday April 30 from 9 am until 6 pm.

Survivors include his children, Janesta Venita Strong and Monica Bre’ana Strong; his mother, Elma Hubbard; special brother and sisters, James Wells, Wanda (Thomas) Allen, Juanita Cornell;  and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
