Pauline "Polly" (Curry) Johnson

We pause to announce the earthly transition of Mrs. Pauline "Polly" (Curry) Johnson, 76, of Jonesboro, Georgia who ended her earthly walk of life on Tuesday, July 29, 2025.

Polly was born on April 10, 1949, in Elbert County, Georgia to the late Mr. Wylie Frank Curry and the late Mrs. Fannie Ruth (Hunter) Curry. Preceding her in death are her husband Mr. Nathaniel Johnson; two children Toris Johnson and Carol Johnson; six siblings John Robert Curry, Doris Curry, Jimmy Lee Curry, Dorethea Curry, Juanita Curry and Willie Frank Curry.

She leaves to cherish her memories her beloved son Christopher Curry; her loving sister Ina Mae Curry; a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives that will forever cherish her memory.

Celebration of Life Service for Mrs. Johnson will be held Friday, August 8, 2025, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home Chapel, 1315 Gus Thornhill Jr. Dr., East Point, GA 30344.

Visitation: Thursday, August 7, 2025, 10:00 am - 8:00 pm at the Gus Thornhill's Funeral Home.

Family and Friends are asked to assemble in the chapel at 12:30 pm.
