Peggy Ann (Alexander) Rucker

Ms. Peggy Ann Rucker, 73, of Elberton, GA entered her eternal rest on October 14, 2023.

Ms. Peggy Ann (Alexander) Rucker was born on April 20, 1950, to the union of Mr. James Edward Alexander, Senior and Mrs. Lillian Julia Mattox Alexander.

Her hobbies included cooking, tending to her flowers, caring for people and doing her word search puzzles.

Preceding her in death were her parents; her brothers, Mr. Richard Gregory Alexander, Mr. James Edward Alexander, Jr.; her husband, Mr. Bennie L. Rucker.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Mr. Haven D. Rucker (Cindy), Ms. Shletia Rucker, Mr. Eric Rucker, Mr. Timothy Rucker; stepdaughter, Mrs. Marilyn Reid (the late Mr. Boast Reid, Jr.); one sister, Mrs. Aretha Harris of Chicago, IL; eleven grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 2:00pm, located at White's Chapel C.M.E. Church. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at White's Chapel C.M.E. Church Cemetery.
