Preston Rucker

Mr. Preston Rucker, age 56 of Hartwell, Georgia entered his eternal rest on Wednesday, May 03, 2023.

Preston Dwindle Rucker was born on October 26, 1966 in Hart County, GA to Walton Jr. and Charlotte Rucker. He was called home on May 3, 2023. He was married to the late Trina Louise Rucker. Preston and Trina had 3 loving children. 

Preston was joyful, loving, head-strong, and kind hearted man that lit up every room he entered. He was very intrigued with old history and loved using his hands building different projects, fishing and hunting with his brother. Preston enjoyed listening to old school vinyl records, landscaping in his yard, and spending quality time traveling with family. He had a passion for classic cars, westerns, and was very talented at drawing and painting art work. 

Surviving are his children: Quentin Rucker (Elena), Brittany Rucker, and O'Ryan Rucker; mother: Charlotte Rucker; brother Keith Rucker and sister: Antoinette Heaton (Chad); nieces: Shanice Chapman, Deandra Duncan; Claryn Troup; nephews: Devon Chapman and Josh Troup, God-daughter: Torrion Starks; great nieces and a host of aunts and uncles. 

Funeral Service will held on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at 2:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home Hartwell Chapel. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
