Priscilla (Sims) Trumpler

Priscilla Louise (Sims) Trumpler was born on May 16, 1948, to Leonard C. Sims and Ida E. (Wiley) Sims. Priscilla was the widow of the late Johnny Trumpler.

At an early age, she accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and joined First Baptist Church of Hartwell, Georgia; here she served on the Usher Board. She was a very faithful servant of God until her declining health.

Priscilla was educated in the Hart County School System and attended school at Hart County Training School. She began her working career at Hartwell Company where she was employed for 30 years. Later, she continued working at Gip’s Manufacturing Company until their closing.

Priscilla was a very friendly and loving person and loved talking with people, whether she knew them or not. Her loving personality was evident from the smile she wore on her face. She loved flowers and watching them grow was her favorite thing.

On March 15, 2025, Priscilla was called to her eternal home, where she is now reacquaintance herself with those loved ones who have gone before her. Those preceding her in death are her parents Leonard and Ida Sims; three sisters Josephine, Ida Mae, Linda; one niece Cheryl Long; two nephews Demetricus and Roderick.

Priscilla leaves to cherish her memories forever, her beloved and devoted sister, also her helpmate Juanita Sadler of Hartwell, Georgia; she also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Priscilla’s unwavering faith and dedication will forever be remembered.

It is clear that her faith was strong and with the help of employees at Hart Care it worked “together” for her good.

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at 2:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
