Ralph "Candy" Smith Willis

Ralph Smith Willis, age 78 of Elberton, Georgia transitioned from earthly life and entered eternal rest on December 15, 2022.

Ralph was born to the parentage of the late Effie Davenport and Gil Chanult. He spent most of his adult life in Hartford, Connecticut working for the city. After retiring he returned to Elberton, Georgia.

Ralph was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, until moving to Calhoun Falls, South Carolina where he then joined McAllister Chapel Holiness Church.

Ralph enjoyed watching old westerns on television.

Ralph is proceeded in death by both his parents, two sisters: Genell Carpenter and Eula Mae Gary, and one brother Freddie Willis.

Ralph's love shall forever cling to the memories of, three sons: Russell (Kim) Willis of Suwanee, GA, Rickey Willis and Rodney (Ashely) Willis both of Elberton, GA; one daughter: Barbara Ardister of Melbourne, FL; A special niece Helen Tillman who faithfully cared for him; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2022, from 12:00 - 5:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.
