Mr. Roosevelt Lawrence, a loving husband, and devoted father made his transition on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA. He was married to Mrs. Doris Lawrence.
Mr. Lawrence was born July 12, 1935, in the rural of Elbert County, Georgia he was the son of the late Mr. Thomas Lawrence and Mrs. Mollie Lou "Scrap" (Tate) Lawrence. He was preceded in death by his siblings Mr. William "Dub" Lawrence, Mrs. Addie Bell Lawrence Simpson, Mr. Arthur Lawrence, Mrs. Annie Sue Harper Tate, Mrs. Rosa Lee Lawrence Boney.
In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Lawrence leaves behind his devoted children Maxine Blake, Thomas Lawrence, Idrese Lawrence; his beloved brother Millard Lawrence; a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Lawrence remains will be placed in repose on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 9:00am at St. John Memorial Baptist Church 2853 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19133
Funeral Services for Mr. Lawrence will be held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at 10 AM at St. John Memorial Baptist Church 2853 Germantown Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19133
Burial will take place at Northwood Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA
