Mrs. Rose Velle McCurry, age 89 of Carnesville, Georgia entered her eternal rest Wednesday, September 06, 2023.

Ms. Rose Velle Bullard McCurry departed this life on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at Hartwell Health & Rehabilitation Center located in Hartwell, Georgia. She was born on March 18, 1934, to the late Julie Ann Burns Bullard and Oscar Bullard.

Preceding her in death are two sons: Bobby Smith and James Bullard.

She leaves behind three daughters: Betty Brock of Lavonia, Georgia. Patricia Ficks of Royston, Georgia. Ruby McCurry (James) of Bowersville, Georgia. Sons: Estee Smith (Frances) of Carnesville, Georgia. O.D. Bullard of Carnesville, Georgia. Dennis Bullard of Decatur, Georgia. Two Daughter – In- Laws: Belinda Smith of Martin, Georgia. Trina Bullard of Toccoa, Georgia. A special friend and neighbor, Mrs. Roberta Wiley. A host of great grands, and great-great grands, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Rose Velle was loved by many and will be greatly missed. She never met a stranger, and all were welcomed in her home.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 11, 2023, at 1:30pm, located at Zion Hill Baptist Church - Carnesville, Georgia. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at Zion Hill Baptist Church - Carnesville, Georgia.
