Scheritha Michele Willis

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, just as the date was coming into existence, the Lord is his great wisdom dispatched his Angels to peacefully relocate Ms. Scheritha Michele Willis to her new Heavenly home.

She was the daughter of Mr. Robert James Willis and Mrs. Annie Ruth (Cade) Willis.

Ms. Willis was born on June 12, 1970, in Elbert County, Elberton, Ga. She was educated in the Elbert County School System and was a graduate of Elbert County Comprehensive High School Class of 1988. She was a member of Martin Grove Baptist Church.

Ms. Willis is survived by her parents Robert and Annie Willis; brother Zachariah (Amanda) Willis; grandmother Annie Jewel Hunter; one uncle Willie Clifford Cade; two great uncle Jimmy Dubose, Rev. Sam Johnson; three aunts Addie Deadwyler, Rebecca Hughes, Marian Jones; three great aunts Shirley Dubose, Pauline Dubose and Priscilla Johnson.

Scheritha did not have any biological children, but she was a mother figure to many children whom she helped reared throughout her lifetime.

Public Viewing will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at 2:00pm, located at Martin Grove Baptist Church - Elberton, GA. 

Interment service will follow the funeral service located at Martin Grove Church Cemetery. 

The family is receiving friends of the community at 1051 Porter Drive, Elberton, Georgia.
