In the still of the night, in his own and wise manner, God called home the soul of Mr. Steven DAngelo Thornton on Monday, December 9, 2024, at his residence.

Steven Dangelo Thornton passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at his home.

Steven was born on April 28, 1974, in Hartwell, Georgia he was the son of Mrs. Earnestine Thornton and the late Mr. Mack Linder Thornton.

In addition to his father, he is also preceded by his nephew Jadakeis Elijah Johnson.

He is survived by his beloved mother Mrs. Earnestine Thornton; two sons Corwin Stevan (Shamaya) Phelps and Donovan Josiah Thornton; one brother Tony Jerome Thornton; three sisters Jill Helena Thornton, Tameka Denise Thornton, Andrea Jeannean Thornton; two grandchildren; one goddaughter; a host of nieces and nephews.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00pm, located at St. Luke C.M.E. Church - Hartwell, GA. 

Interment service will immediately follow funeral service at Cedar Spring Baptist Church Cemetery - Hartwell, GA.
