Tammy Taggart, age 59 of Elberton, Georgia entered her eternal rest Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Mrs. Tammy L. Taggart entered her eternal rest on December 22, 2022. She was born on June 13, 1963, to the late Catherine Dubose and Stepfather Arnold Oglesby. Tammy was a devoted deacon of Westside Presbyterian Church and Health Care Assistant for many years.

Tammy had a heart of Gold, with a loving, caring, and sweet spirit. Her smile would brighten up your whole day, with a personality to match. Tammy loved her family unconditionally.

Tammy now joins her husband: Richard Taggart. Her parents: Catherine & Arnold Oglesby. Mother-In-Law: Jerledean Taggart. Four brothers-in-law’s: Billy Allen, John Taggart, Melvin Turman and Wilbert Williams. Stepsister: Constance Turman. Three Uncles and Seven Aunts.

She leaves to cherish her memories, Three Children: RaShyani Montgomery, Jamarcus Taggart (Jamie Gosnell), and Patricia Holland. Two Uncles: Jimmy (Redell) Dubose and Wilbert (Kathy) Oglesby. One Aunt; Shirley Dubose. A friend of the family: James Moore. Two Sister-In-Laws: Henrietta Williams and Wilhelmena Bowman. One Brother-In-Law: William Howard Taggart. A host of nieces, nephews, and family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, January 5, 2023, at 2:00pm located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Internment Services will be held following funeral services at Martin Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
