For we know when this earthly tabernacle dissolves there's a building not made by man hands. In the still of the night, the Angels carried the soul of Ms. Wanda Faye Roebuck from her Earthly home to her Heavenly home where she shall live forever.

The life of Ms. Wanda Faye Roebuck began on February 28, 1965, in Hartwell, Georgia to the union of the late Fred Roebuck and the late Sallie Pearl NoraEllen (Allen) Roebuck.

Faye as she was affectionately known realized at a young age in life that Jesus was her Savior and that she one day would see him face to face; this led her to joining the Shiloh C.M.E. Church in Hartwell, Georgia where she served faithfully. In her adulthood while in Orlando, Florida she united with Ture Gospel Holiness Church of Jesus and served faithfully there until she returned to Georgia, she then united herself with Greater Breakthrough Christian Ministries in Bogart, Georgia. Faye’s strong belief in the word was evident and was exemplified through her devotion to volunteering herself for church work and this reflected her unwavering love for the Lord and her commitment to serve others with kindness and grace.

Faye’s was educated in the Hart County School System and graduated from Hart County High School Class of 1984. Faye dedicated her life to education where she was a certified paraprofessional in the state of Florida. Her passion for nurturing young minds and supporting students was evident throughout her career. In recognition of her dedication and impact, she was honored as Paraprofessional of the Year in 2017, by Orange County School District. She found immense fulfillment in guiding and uplifting students, leaving a lasting impression on those she mentored.

Beyond her professional achievements, Faye was a woman of deep faith and boundless generosity. She found joy in cooking and often shared meals with family and friends, turning simple moments into cherished memories.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents Fred Roebuck and Sallie Pearl NoraEllen (Allen) Roebuck; her maternal grandmother Evalena Allen; her paternal grandmother Leila Hill; her son Neko Christyle Rayton; her daughter Christina Wylette Rayton; her siblings Linda Diane Roebuck, Julie Roebuck, and Fred Roebuck, Jr.

Those left behind to cherish her everlasting memory and to celebrate her life are her son Wylie De La Renta Rayton; daughter Crystal Rayton; two grandchildren Andreis Rayton and Lilo- Leilahanni Moore; two sisters Sandra Gail Roebuck and Louise (Benny) Clark; two brothers David Roebuck and Richard Roebuck; she also leaves behind her bonus children whom she loved dearly her daughters Michelle (George) Tate, Melissa (Stacy) Craft, Corneilus Thompson, Beverly Rayton, Tampa Glaze, Denise (Haven) Anderson, Keisha Hughes, Valerie Rayton, Wynia Johnson, Pamela Smith, Meschelle (Ivy) Mauldin, Ann Bowman, Vickie Bowman, Melissa Curry Wells, and Chanika Charles; her sons Marion Strozier, Steven (Lisa) Rayton, Mitchell (Rene) Rayton, Marshall Rayton and Tracey Rowe; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews who she loved dearly.

On Sunday, March 9, 2025, at Brown’s Health and Rehabilitation in Royston, Georgia, Ms. Wanda Faye Roebuck’s legacy of love and kindness came to an end, but it will live on in the hearts of those who knew her, may her memory bring comfort to all who mourn her passing but rejoice in knowing she’s with her Savior.

Public viewing for Ms. Roebuck will be held on Saturday, March 15, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at 3:00pm, located at Maple Spring Baptist Church - Dewy Rose, GA.
