Wayne Christopher Williams

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. Wayne Christopher Williams, who peacefully departed this life on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at his residence in Athens, Georgia.

Wayne was born on November 26, 1969, in Elberton, Georgia to the late Margie Rebecca Williams and the late James Edward Williams. He was called home to take his eternal rest on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

Wayne attended Elbert County High School and then he chose a career path in nursing which he did for many years.

Wayne was preceded in death by his wife the late Jeanette Heard Williams.

Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters: Linda Allaway (Steve) of Royston, Ga. Gloria Williams of Athens, Ga. One brother: Jeffery McDuffie (Mary) of Elberton, Ga. Many Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews along with a host of family and friends.

Memorial Service for Mr. Williams will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at 2:30pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel.

The staff of Mack’s Funeral Home joins the family in asking that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
