Wilhelmena Taggart Bowman was born on July 25, 1954, to the late Jeroleen Elizabeth Taggart. She transitioned peacefully into eternal rest on October 6, 2025, at her residence where the sent an Angel to assist her to his kingdom where our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ embraced her in his loving arms.
At a young age she joined Bethel A.ME. Church. Later in her adult life she joined the Oak Grove Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Henry T. Butler, Sr.
Wilhelmena was educated in the Elbert County School System; she later joined Job Corp where she received her G.E.D. She was employed at the Elbert County Training Center.
Wilhelmena loved to read, solve crossword puzzles while looking at television, eating at different restaurants, shopping and attending different events while travelling with her sister. Her greatest joy was being with family and friends.
Wilhelmena’s caring heart, warm smile, and her gentle and sweet spirit will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of ALL who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her mother Jeroleen Elizabeth Taggart; siblings Richard Gregory Taggart, John Woodrow Taggart, and William Howard Taft Taggart.
