William Allen Jr.

William Allen Jr.  was born on March 31, 1947, in Elberton, Georgia to the late Mr. William & Mrs. Irene (Fleming) Allen. He was called home to take his eternal rest on Monday, May 4, 2026.

William was preceded in death by his parents Mr. William Allen & Mrs. Irene Allen. Sisters: Christine Allen, Parrie Lee Edwards, Maxine Allen. Brother: Fleming Allen.

At an early age in life William joined Rose Hill Baptist Church. 

William leaves to cherish his memories, wife: Melinda Marie Allen; his children: S. Machel Allen of Royston, Georgia, Mario Allen of Elberton, Georgia, Staycee Allen of Athens, Georgia, and Lia M. Allen of Hartwell, GA; two brothers: Roger Allen of Decatur, Georgia, Larry Allen of Elberton, Georgia. two sisters-in-law: Sharon Martin of Elberton, Georgia, Lois Rucker of Bowman, Georgia; one brother-in-law: Stanley (Barbara) Willis of Canon, Georgia. Many grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews along with a host of family and friends.

Public viewing will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 11:00am, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Interment will immediately follow the funeral service located at Downer's Grove Cemetery.

The family will receive friends and members of the community at his residence, located at 1214 Beechwood Rd., Elberton, Georgia.
