William Eades

Mr. William Eades was born December 15, 1947, to the parentage of Ms. Annie Kate Eades in Washington, Ga. God call him from labor to reward on Saturday, November 23, 2024. William was educated in the Hart County School System. Upon completion of school, he began his career most recently with Owens Corning where he was a dedicated employee for 32 years, retiring in 2004. William enjoyed fishing, watching sports, and spending time with his family. He was an avid sports fan with a huge love for the Georgia Bulldogs, and spending quality time with the love of his life, Delores. 

William was preceded in death by his mother: Annie Kate Eades; a sister: Rose Mae Eades; 2 brothers: Melvin Eades and James Link. 

He leaves to cherish his memories: his beautiful wife Delores; four children whom he adored: Maria Eades (Hartwell, Ga.), William (Netra) Eades (Athens, Ga.), Antonio Thompson and Janeivia Thompson (both of Anderson, SC.); thirteen grandchildren who were the sparkles in his eyes: Marica, Demondric, Mashuna, Jeremiah, Delenzo, Kaylin, Sha'Diamond, Kamaria, Kennedi, Antonio Jr., Kensley, Ayden, and Kallee; thirteen great grandchildren; brother and sister in laws: Barbara Clark, Albert (Gloria) Thompson, Diane (Robert) G., Parris (Sheila) Thompson and Sloan (Virginia) Gantt; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.

The family is at 102 Crystal Lane, Anderson, SC 29621.

Public Viewing: Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm at The Unity Mortuary of Anderson.

The funeral service for Mr. Eades will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Iva, SC at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery, Anderson, SC.
