William Tyrone Humphrey

Mr. William Tyrone Humphrey, age 43 of Hartwell, Georgia entered his eternal rest on Thursday, May 04, 2023.

William “Tyrone” Humphrey was born on February 13, 1980, in Gainesville, Georgia to Martha Colson and the late William “Billy” Humphrey Jr. He was called from his earthly home on May 4, 2023. Tyrone was a former member of Cedar Springs Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father: William “Billy” Humphrey Jr., Grandparents/Adoptive Parents: Roy and Mary Allen, Grandfathers: Billy Ray Young Sr and William Humphrey Sr, Grandmother: Stella Humphrey, and Step Grandmother Alice Mitchell.

Tyrone leaves to cherish his loving memories: one Son: Ezekiel Humphrey of Lavonia, Georgia. Mother and Stepfather: Martha and Maurice Colson of Gainesville, Georgia. Stepmother: Laurie Humphrey of Hartwell, Georgia. Grandmother: Annie Bell Wright of Flowery Branch, Georgia. One brother: Willis Humphrey of Buford, Georgia. Four Sisters: Shelia (Neal) Curry of Lula, GA, Tiffani Humphrey of Anderson, South Carolina, Alesia Mitchell of Athens, Georgia, and Natasha Colson of Gainesville, Georgia. Six Nieces: Kaylana Curry, Alyce Daniel, Aliyah Newman, Keinyla Rucker, Zaila Brown, and Zahria Brown. Two Nephews: Kylan Curry and Jaiden Humphrey-Tutt. An aunt and uncle, Lena (Paul) Osborne whom Tyrone spent a lot of time with. As well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and special friends Evelyn Harper and Walter Dye, that will forever cherish his memories.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Friday, May 12, 2023, located at Mack's Funeral Home Hartwell Chapel from 12:00 - 5:00pm. 

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at 2:00pm located at Cedar Springs Baptist Church. 

Interment will follow the funeral service at Sardis Baptist Church Cemetery.
