There's a firm hope for the resurrection mentioned in the Bible at John 5:28-29, where Jesus said all those in the Memorial tombs would "hear his voice and come out".
Mr. William Harrison Jordan, age 85 of Hartwell, Georgia fell asleep in death on Sunday, September 7, 2025, at the AnMed Medical Center in Anderson, South Carolina. Mr. Jordan was married to Mrs. Ina (Winkfield) Jordan and was the owner/proprietor of William Jordan Carpet Cleaning.
William Harrison Jordan was born January 25,1940 in Hartwell, Georgia to the late John Wesley Jordan and Julia Teasley Jordan, He was the youngest of 14 children.
William married the love of his life, Ina Mae Winkfield, on August 17, 1957.
William was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses August 15, 1959. He loved his ministry and was well received by those he spoke with because of his kind, sincere, loving, and sometimes comical, delivery.
He was an asset to the Hartwell Congregation and loved serving the friends there.
He was employed by Hart County Hospital for many years. Then he decided to start his own business (of which he is best known for) Jordan Carpet Cleaning. He took pride in his work and made many friends during his career.
William was preceded in death by his son, Myron Winfred Jordan, and his 13 siblings.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Ina, daughter, Jo Nell Tate, daughter in law, Sandra Jordan, and a host of grandchildren, great grands, and nieces and nephews.
Public viewing will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Hartwell Chapel.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at 1:00pm, located at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness - Hartwell, GA.
Interment will immediately follow the funeral services located at Jehovah's Witness Cemetery - Hartwell, GA.
The family is receiving friends of the community at the home 1547 John W Jordan Rd., Hartwell, GA 30643
