William Henry Pinder III

Mr. William Henry Pinder III, age 72, of Hartwell, Georgia entered his eternal rest on Monday, October 30, 2023. 

William H. Pinder, III, 72, departed this earthly life on Monday, October 30, 2023, at the AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC. William (Bill) Henry Pinder III was born March 5, 1951, in Baltimore. Maryland, to Dorothy Oliver and William H. Pinder Jr. He grew up in Jamaica, New York.

William graduated from Livingstone College with a BA in History. He continued his education at Andover Newton Theological School in Boston and earned an M.Div (Master of Divinity) Degree. For over 30 years Bill served as an ordained minister in the Methodist Church, and also in military as an Army Chaplain. He was an Inner Growth Consultant, Spirit Life Coach, Interfaith Minister, Alternative Health Practitioner. His books are "Something I Said: Personal Quotes, Commentaries, and Essays for Inspiration, Empowerment, and Just Plain Common Sense", and "7 Steps To Becoming A Published Author: A Personal Journey and Guide In Self Publishing".

Bill was a lover of jazz, reggae, and sci-fi. He used his experiences in life to craft individual messages to those around him.

Bill’s precious memories will be cherished by his family: Tonya Freeman Pinder, Shanti Slade, Dayna Smith Slade, Jamilla Pinder, Marcus Pinder, Fathia Savory, Christopher Pinder, Darius Darden, Zamera Pinder, Oliver Savory, Orly Savory, and a host of other beloved family and friends.
