Willie E. "Pete" Downer, Jr.

Mr. Willie E. "Pete" Downer, Jr., a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and friend, embarked to his new address on Friday, November 28, 2025. As the angels beckoned him to his eternal home, he gained his wings and ascended from Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, Georgia, to his new heavenly home.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, from 1:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at 2:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel. 

Interment services will immediately follow the funeral service located at Lincoln Heights Cemetery - Elberton, GA.
