On February 8, 2025, just as the date was coming into existence, in the stillness of darkness, the Lord in his great wisdom dispatched his angels to Heardmont Nursing Home in Elberton, Georgia to peacefully relocate Mr. Willie Lewis White, Sr. from labor to reward in his new heavenly home among his relatives.
Today Represents a Chapter Completed.
A Page Turned.
A Life Well Lived.
And A Rest Well Earned.
Of all the special gifts in life, however great or small, to have you as our dad was the greatest gift of all. No more tomorrows we can share but yesterdays are always there.
On February 8, 2025, Willie Lewis White, Sr. gained his wings to his Heavenly home. Dad, we will miss you every day. You were so precious and unique in every way. Willie was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Lillian Baker White, and a daughter Jacqueline W. Anderson.
He leaves to cherish his memories Jacqueline (Daniel) Roebuck, Cynthia (Patrick) Allen, Willie (Amy) White, Jr., Dr. Gladys (John) Loney, Connie (Robert) Brabham, Tonya Gray; a son-in-law Michael Anderson; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren; brother-in-law Carl (Wadene) Davis; sisters-in-law Teresa D. Barnett, Genell (Johnny) Moses, Mary J. Davis; along with a host of other relatives and friends.
The fact that you are no longer here still fills our heart with pain. We wish we had just one last chance to talk with you again.
Public Viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, from 12:00 - 5:00pm, located at Mack's Funeral Home - Elberton Chapel
Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 1:00pm, located at Carlton Grove Baptist Church - Elberton, GA
Interment service will immediately follow the funeral service located at Carlton Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
