Funeral service 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 27, 2016, New Light Baptist Church, Lavonia, GA. The body will be placed in the church at noon before the service.
He leaves to cherish his fond memories his children: Joe R. (Deborah) Johnson of Jackson, MS, Oliver Miller Johnson of Athens, GA, and Larry (Sharon) Johnson of Hartwell, GA; sisters: Odessa Foster of Athens, GA, Mary Lou Smith of Decatur, GA and Essie L. Pass of Athens, GA; 13 grand-children, and 10 great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
