The Thornton Family is keeping The Morrison Family in our prayers. Floyd and Mary, you are a special couple. Always expressing a beautiful smile and genuine love to everyone. During this very difficult time, know that God is comforting and giving you the strength to make it from day to day. Our late loved one Alfred Thornton always had good things to say about Floyd when they worked together at Tenneco Automotive (Monroe) in Hartwell. Again, we are keeping you close in prayer.

Dear Morrison Family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you. We both worked with Floyd at Monroe. He was the nicest person one could ever meet. I will always remember his smile! The last time I spoke to Floyd he smiled and said "I've given it to the Lord and the Lord is so good!" Floyd had faith in Christ. I know he gave it to Jesus and today he is healed and his body restored. He is a shining example of what it means to walk with Christ. He will be forever missed by those who were blessed to know him, but one day we will meet again in Heaven. May God give you the peace, love, and strength in the days ahead.

Every once in a while we our blessed with such a great person that touches everyone in a positive manner; Floyd was that kind of person. He was my classmate but also a friend. HCHS Class of 1976 will miss him dearly! My thoughts and prayers go out to Mary and his family.

For We know that the plan GOD has for our loved one is to be with him and still watch over us. Floyd is definitely with his maker and all we have to do is follow the instructions he left for us and we too will be reunited with him in Heaven.
