     Jimmy Allen Sr., age 84, of Elberton, Georgia passed September 26, 2016.

    Funeral service will be 2 pm Thursday, September 29, 2016 at Martin Grove Baptist Church, Elberton, GA. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Allen will be placed in the church Thursday, at 1: pm until hour of service.

    Survivors include his wife Mrs. Bobbie Allen, children: James Heard, Barbara Sheats, Woodrow Tigger, Debbie Pittard, Senthea Barnett, , Rev. Jimmy Allen Jr., Rev. Gregory Allen, Dexter Allen, Allison Smith; brother, Gerod Allen; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
